Reader Plates downloads for the PRS-900 are approximately 1.5 gigabytes for the entire U.S. The download time will vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection. We see downloads complete in well under an hour on a good cable modem connection. However, slower connections commonly require several hours, so we recommend running updates overnight.
